Many fun seekers thronged the National Art Theatre in Lagos on Christmas Day to catch some fun in celebration of the Yuletide.

Some of the fun seekers, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria, said although they enjoyed the scenic environment at the National Theatre, but wondered why there were no movies to watch and artiste to entertain visitors.

Ifeoma Adebayo, a businesswoman, said her kids and husband had fun riding horses and picnicking on the lawns of the National Art Theatre premises.

Also, Taiwo and Kehinde Salami, twin brothers, said they purposely came to the National Theatre for horse riding, which they revealed they thoroughly enjoyed, but complained that the N500 per five minutes ride was high.

They expressed disappointment that no single movie was on show at National Theatre cinemas on Christmas Day.

A businessman, Temple Mathew, who came with seven children, including three of his neighbours, said they enjoyed the scenery at the National Theatre and expressed delight at refreshments on offer at the venue.

Another fun seeker, Mary Lawal, a teacher, also expressed disappointment that the cinemas at National Theatre were closed.

Lawal said her friends visiting National Theatre for the first time also felt disappointed that there was no artiste around to entertain them at the venue.

NAN reports that some of the fun seekers were seen engaging in horse rides, taking pictures with Father Christmas, picnicking and taking walks around the scenery environment.
