The President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has nominated the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, to lead a Senate delegation to South Africa.
The delegation is to meet the South African Government to address the xenophobic attacks in the country on Africans, especially Nigerians.
Other senators in the delegation are the Senate Leader, Ahmad Lawan; Chief Whip, Sola Adeyeye; Senator Shehu Sani; Senator Shabba Lafigi; Senator Magnus Abe; and Senator Stella Oduah.
