Three-time African champions, the Super Eagles, will host their eternal rivals, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, in first leg of the all important World Cup qualifier on August 31 at the Godswill Akpabio Stsdium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The tie is slated to kick off at 7pm Nigeria time.
According to the fixtures released by the World football governing body, FIFA, the Gernot Rohr-led team will be hosted the second leg on September 4 at Stade Omnisports Ahmadou-Ahidjo in Yaounde.
Nigeria currently tops Group B of the World Cup qualifying series with six points ahead of Cameroon with two points, while Zambia and Algeria have one point each.
While Nigeria duel with Cameroon, Zambia will host the Desert Foxes of Algeria in Ndola.
