The world’s football governing body, FIFA, has appointed Tunisian Sadok Selmi as the centre referee for Tuesday’s World Cup qualifying playoff between Nigerian and Ghana in Abuja.
His compatriot Khalil Hassani and Attia Amsaaed (Libyan) will serve as the assistant referee one and two respectively.
Selmi has been very active in the 2021-22 season having been present at the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon where he handled two group stage games.
Meanwile, Jérôme Brisard and Willy Louis Delajod from France will be in charge of the Video Assistant referee.
The game will determine the team that will join the teams from Africa to play at the World Cup in Qatar.
