Nigeria’s top striker Victor Osimhen’s top form right in time has thrown Ghana over balance ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff encounter.

According to media reports in Ghana, the form of the Napoli man is of concern for Black Stars fans as they roundly discuss his coming for the March 25 game in Accra.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to take on the Black Stars in the final playoff round of the African qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.

Ahead of the two-legged games, striker Osimhen has geared up in a style.

Over the weekend, the forward netted a brace for SSC Napoli when the team defeated Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie A.

Courtesy of those two goals, the Nigeria forward has been named in the SofaScore Team of the Week.

The form of the player is now of concern to Ghana aiming to overcome Nigeria to secure a ticket to play at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The two games are scheduled for March 25 and 29, 2022 respectively.
