Usain Bolt is returning to Birmingham this weekend.
The multi gold medal-winning athlete will be doing his training for the IAAF World Athletics Championships at Birmingham University.
He will join his Jamaican track and field team colleagues and be based at the Edgbaston campus from Saturday, July 22.
It is a welcome return for the talented squad as they based themselves at the university in 2012 ahead of the London Olympics.
But this time it will be his swansong as Bolt has announced he is to retire after the World Athletics Championships which will be held in London in August.
The Jamaicans will be the first to use the new eight-lane athletics track which is just days away from being completed.
It replaces the old track they used back in 2012 which has been dug up to make way for a new library.
As well as the athletics track, the team will have the use of the university’s new £55 million sports centre and 50m swimming pool which opened in May.
After his last visit to Birmingham, Bolt personally thanked the university for the support and facilities which helped win his second “triple” Gold medal in London.
The university said they were proud to be hosting Bolt and his teammates.
