Wolves are close to agreeing a deal to sign Nigerian defender, Kenneth Omeruo.
A bid of £3 million (N1.2 billion) with add-ons was lodged by Wolves for his service and Chelsea accepted the fee for his transfer as he has no spot in Antonio Conte’s squad for next season campaign.
The 23-year-old could well be the answer to what has been seen a problem position for Wolves ever since the end of last season.
Omeruo has been with the Blues since 2012, and has enjoyed three separate loan spells during his time with the club, including a spell with Middlesbrough where he made over 30 appearances for the Teeside club.
A full Nigerian international, Omeruo will be hoping to finally settle into life in English football and make Wolves somewhere he can really push on and develop his career.
