The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has led some members of the G5 on a visit to President Bola Tinubu.
The G5 is a group of governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party who were against happenings in the party before the 2023 elections.
The group was made up of Wike; the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde; a former Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu; a former Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi; and a former Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom.

On Saturday, Wike went with Ikpeazu and Ortom on the visit to Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Also with the crew was a former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose.
