Few days after the premiere of her movie, Being Mrs Elliot, in Aso Rock, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli, has been hit by several criticisms for her dress, which appeared to have exposed her breasts and cleavages.
Those who slammed the actress expressed disappointment over her dress, saying they never expected her to indulge in such.
However, Oboli has reacted to the criticism.
She said she exposed her dress due to the type of cress she wore.
She said the dress appeared to have shown much of her “chest” due to the camera angle.
Oboli explained that after the event, she headed straight to her hotel room and returned to Lagos State to meet her family.
According to her: “I didn’t collect a dime from the Presidency as some claimed.
“Before the screening, they asked me what I wanted and I said I didn’t want anything, but that the President and his people should see the movie and give their blessings.
“For me, that is good enough for the industry.
“The first time I ever I saw Mr. President was at his brother’s burial ceremony, which I attended.
“I don’t know him from anywhere or personally.
“During the event, Mr. President said in the presence of everybody that the government didn’t have money to give me.
“So if anybody is going aside to say something else, they are wrong.
“I returned to Lagos with the small purse I took to the event and after the event, I went back to my hotel room and left for Lagos the next morning.
“I didn’t stay back in Aso Rock or sneak out to meet anybody.
“I’m still hopping they will call us to come and take something that they are impressed.”

There,s no obvious reason, other than “Intention to Seduce” any available “High and Mighty” that may get carried away by her “Body Advert”. She should have been screened out by the ” Security or Protocol” of the Presidency, until properly dressed.Such acts abound across Social, Professional and Cultural personalities….It shouldn’t be tolerated!

This is senseless and baseless excuses you gave, Miss Omoni Oboli for putting on that kind of dress. You said it was a dress you wore that show ches in the camera. The question is why must you put on that dress that expose your chest and not putting on brazier that supposed to cover your chest and the breast? We all know you people, you can go extra miles to get the attention of ‘big’ people in society.

she is a disgrace to decency!!!

she should have been told to go dress properly before getting to see the president….the dress is too revealing and suggestive…..

The security officials ought to have turned her back, only to return when she is properly dressed.
