The race for the presidency has reached a feverish pitch with the presidential candidates of 14 of Nigeria’s registered political parties moving across the country to canvass for votes.
However, attention seems to be focused largely on two of the contestants – President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party and General Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress.
And the issues that have attended their candidacy seem to support the perception of majority of Nigerians that either of them will emerge the president by the time votes are finally sorted in the February 14, 2015 election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
