West Ham United have made a loan bid for Fenerbahce’s Emmanuel Emenike.
Reports have it that the Hammers want to sign the former Nigeria international on a loan-deal until the end of the season with an option to buy.
Hammers co-owner, David Sullivan, told Sky Sports last week that the club was interested in a striker who had been playing in a “strange” league.
The Hammers however have held talks with Fenerbahce striker Emenike, who has played on loan at UAE club, Al Ain.
The Nigeria international recently posted a photo of the Hollywood movie Green Street to his Instagram account.
The 28-year-old joined the Dubai-based club Al Ain on loan from Fenerbahce, but has now returned to Turkey.
Emenike scored only five goals in 34 league appearances last season for the Istanbul giants in all competitions.
