West Ham United is ready to launch a cash bid for Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori.
The Sun claimed earlier this month it was reported that Rennes was the most likely destination for out of favour Chelsea centre-back Tomori.
The move was likely to be just a loan deal, but now reports suggest that West Ham are eyeing a permanent deal for Tomori.
The 23-year-old rejected a move to West Ham in the summer, pulling out of the deal just hours before the deadline fell.
But a lack of game time so far this season could force him to re-think, with Hammers fans desperate to land a defender in January.
