President Goodluck Jonathan has admitted that his administration reacted too slowly to the menace of insurgency in the country.
Jonathan, in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation, however, said the military will soon complete the routing of the Boko Haram insurgents.
“They are getting weaker and weaker by the day,” he told the BBC.
Despite the shortcoming of his administration in this regard, Jonathan expressed confidence that he would win the upcoming presidential election.
He said his main contender and presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, stands no chance in the election that comes up on March 28.
