“For years now, I’ve been looking forward to working with 2face Idibia and I’m glad the song is on this album.”
Born Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe in Lagos, Nigeria, Coal is one of Nigeria’s music stars who shot into prominence with his monstrous hit, Ololufe.
He got his break in the industry as a dancer.
Coal continued honing his vocals skills before he got signed to D’banj and Don Jazzy’s Month ‘Hits Records in 2006.
He featured on D’banj’s Rundown/Funk You Up album on tracks such as Loke, Tonosibe and Why Me, which received good rotations on Nigerian music platforms.
