African champions, Super Falcons, have been drawn in Group B alongside their eternal rivals, Black Stars, ahead of the West Africa Football Union women’s tournament in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

Nigeria will also duel with Mali and Guinea in the group.

Black Queens were knocked out in the group stage of last year’s edition held in Ghana, while Nigeria finished first after beating South Africa on penalties in the final.

In Group A, hosts Cote D’Ivoire will slug it out with Niger Republic, Senegal and Benin Republic.

The tournament will hold from May 8 to 17.
