Nigeria’s male volleyball team has been drawn alongside Cameroon, Rwanda and Tunisia in the Group A of the 2018 men’s U21 Africa Nations Cup slated to hold in Abuja.
Eight countries divided into two preliminary pools will slug it out in Nigeria from September 12 to 20, 2018.
The draws of the championship was supervised by CAVB President, Dr. Amr Elwani, and Control Committee of the competition in Abuja.
Defending champion, Egypt, were drawn in Group B along with Chad, Egypt and Morocco.
Chad will take on Morocco today (Wednesday) at noon, while host Nigeria face Cameroon at 3pm.
Tunisia begins her campaign against Rwanda at 5pm and the defending champion meet Congo at 7pm.
The African U21 Nations Cup serves as 2019 World Championship qualifiers where top two African teams book their tickets to represent Africa in the FIVB U21 championship.
