The video of the movement of the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, out of the palace has emerged.
The Emir was dethroned on Monday by the Kano State Government.
A statement said the Kano State Executive Council took the decision based on the former Emir’s attitude to the officials of the Government, including the Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Shortly after the announcement, security operatives, made up largely of policemen and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, stormed the palace to enforce the order.
Sanusi was escorted out of the palace in a long convoy.
The Government was said to have banished him to Nasarawa State.
He was replaced by Aminu Ado Bayero, according to a statement by the Secretary to the Kano State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji.
