Short videos recorded at the wedding of Yusuf, the son of President Muhammadu Buhari, and Zahra Nasir Bayero, the daughter of Emir of Bichi in Kano State, last week has been shared online.

In the videos, a crowd of guests were seen dancing to popular secular songs by Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, and Mayorkun.

“Coming,” by controversial Music artiste, Naira Marley, and Mayorkun, playing live, were the highlights of the party the couple had for their young friends.

The party was held without regard for COVID-19 protocols as no one wore mask.

The song, Coming, describes sexual fantasy.

Singer, Mayorkun, who was among those who performed at the wedding, was seen dancing seductively as he sang.

After the wedding, female guests were taking turns to take photos with Mayorkun, while being oblivious to the Sharia Islamic law, which prohibits men and women closeness.

Recall that The Eagle Online reported that Hisbah, through Sheik Harun Ibn Sina, during an interview with BBC Pidgin stated that Zahra Bayero is not above the law over the dress she used for the wedding process.

One of the dresses was quite revealing.

Ibn Sina noted that Zahra ought to lead by example if she wants blessing in her marriage.

He also criticised those sharing photos from the bridal shower on social media, saying it is a sin to do such.

The wedding was attended by a lot of crème de la crème in politics, business and outside the country.

Some of the guests include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, serving and former governors, federal and states legislators, traditional rulers, as well as prominent personalities from within and outside the country.

Meanwhile, about 100 private jets landed at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano for the ceremony.

Controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, faulted Nigerian politicians for hiring private jets to attend the grand ceremony in Bichi, while hundreds of school children are languishing in kidnappers’ den.

However, as at press time, the Hisbah was yet to take any action on the matter.
