The leadership of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti has hailed the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi’s support for the institution, especially the recent release of Fiyinfolu/Odundun Comprehensive High School, Ayedun-Ekiti to the university for the take-off of the school’s Pre-Degree Programmes.
The governor had recently released the school to the institution for use as site for the take off of its pre-degree school.
In a letter to the governor, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Isaac Asuzu, praised the state chief executive for his support since the institution was established.
Asuzu stressed that it is through positive efforts of personalities such as Fayemi that education sector can witness a lifetime change.
He said: “We truly appreciate your dedication and hope you recognize, as we do, the valuable role you play in building brighter future for the development of the education sector in the state, and the Federal University Oye-Ekiti in particular.
“Be assured sir, that the University will put the school compound into proper use.”
