Nigerian international, John Utaka, was the cynosure of all eyes after slotting home the match winner for Sivasspor in their 2-1 victory over Turkish League giants, Galatasaray, at the Sivas 4 Eylül Stadium.
Aatif Chahechouhe opened scoring for Sivasspor in minute 17th of the encounter, just as Yekta Kurtuluş in the 42nd minute curled the ball from the right diagonal into the net post.
The first half ended 1-1.
Utaka put Sivasspor ahead in the 60th minute to register his second goal for the club.
The forward netted a brace for Sivasspor in their 3-4 loss to Bursaspor last weekend. The game was the 17th start for the former RC Lens of France player in the Turkish topflight.
