The Head of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team, Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari, has pulled down a comment he made on Facebook concerning his alleged indictment in the United States of America for fraud.
Kyari had posted the comment on Facebook at 12:11pm on July 29 in response to an allegation by a lady.
In the post Kyari reacted to, the lady had said she was also arrested by Kyari’s team like the case involving Ramon Abbas, aka Hushpuppi, who asked that his co-conspirator in a $1.1 million fraud be taken into custody.
Abbas had in court papers in the US alleged that he told Kyari to arrest Kelly Chibuzo Vincent, who was also involved in the deal that led to a Qatari businessman losing $1.1 million.
Reacting to the allegation by the lady, Kyari wrote on his Facebook page: “Hahahahaha.
“This is the funniest one so far, we are enjoying the show.”
But as at Sunday morning, Kyari had pulled down the post.
The Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, has ordered his probe over the indictment in the US.
