An undergraduate of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Anas Idris, and Ibrahim Jamilu, both said to be grandchildren of Alhaji Sani Gambo, have been kidnapped by bandits who stormed their home in Dan Ali village, Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State.
According to available information, the bandits, who came in large number, stormed the village at about 1:30am on Tuesday, also taking with them three women.
The women were, however, said to have returned home on Tuesday morning.
A source told Daily Trust: “The grand children are with them.
“They are yet to reach out.
“When they arrived the town, they fired several gunshots and made their way into the residence of Alhaji Musa and that of Sani Gambo.
“He is a very old man, almost 100 years old.
“The kidnapped children are his grandsons.”
