Holders Barcelona secured their place in the final four of the Champions League with a 3-1 victory over AC Milan at Camp Nou.
Andres Iniesta scored the last goal that made it 3-1 for Barca, lifting the ball past Christian Abbiati.
After the goalless first leg at the San Siro, Barca took the lead as early as the 11th minute when Lionel Messi was brought down in the box by Luca Antonini.
It was the Argentine who dusted himself off to beat the outstretched hand of Christian Abbiati from the spot.
The Spanish champions were in control of the game, but Milan hit back against the run of play in the 32nd minute when Antonio Nocerino latched on to a through ball from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and slid it under Victor Valdes.
But Milan were not drawn level for long as nine minutes later Messi netted his second penalty of the night.
This time, Alessandro Nesta was caught tugging on the shirt of Sergio Busquets and Messi sent Abbiati the wrong way.
In the 53rd minute, the game was effectively over as a contest when Andres Iniesta ghosted in behind the defence to calmly slot home.
In the night’s other quarter-final, Bayern Munich beat Marseille 2-0, thanks to two first half goals from Ivica Olic, which earned the team a 4-0 aggregate win.
