Sunny Ofili, the Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, on Information and Communications Technology, is dead.
Ofili died on Saturday afternoon in a road crash on the Asaba-Benin Expressway.
Also reported to have died in the crash was the Obi of Issele-Uku town of Delta State, HRH Henry Ezeagwunam.
Both of them were reported to be riding in a Sports Utility Vehicle that crashed into a stationery truck laden with gravel.
The vehicle was with registration number: Edo FUG 238 XA.
The accident was said to have occurred at Otulu Junction on the ever busy Asaba-Benin Expressway.
The vehicle was reported to have burst into fire on impact, with both men burnt beyond recognition.
Ezeagwunam was reported to be driving while Ofili was on the passenger’s seat in front.
