Entrant Frankfurt of Germany loanee, Taiwo Awoniyi, has been dropped to the bench
as Dream Team battle their Algerian counterparts today for a place in the semi finals of the ongoing U-23 AFCON in Senegal.
The Liverpool of England new buy has failed to live up to his billing in the previous two games against Mali and Egypt lost his place to Warri Wolves striker Kufre Ebong.
Samson Siasia has also been forced to replace injured Stanley Dimgba with defensive midfielder Godspower Aniefiok.
It will the first starts for both Ebong and Godspower.
Awoniyi, who is on loan to Germany from EPL side Liverpool, was one of the stars as Nigeria won a seventh African Youth Championship in Senegal in March, but he has struggled to find his feet thus far at the U23 AFCON, also in Senegal.
The tie kicks off at 6pm at Stade LS Sengol in Dakar.
