U-17 AFCON: Golden Eaglets avoid host Morocco + Full draws

Former World Champions, Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets, have been grouped alongside Tanzania, Algeria and Congo ahead of the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations slated to hold Morocco.

CAF Director of Competitions Samson Adamu conducted the draw, assisted by Mauritania’s legend Mustapha Fall on Wednesday in Nouakchott, Mauritania.

Hosts Morocco will kick off the competition against Uganda in the opening match in Rabat.

The competition is slated for March 13 to 31, 2021.

The Groups:
Group A:
Morocco, Uganda, Zambia, Cote d’Ivoire

Group B:
Nigeria, Tanzania, Algeria, Congo

Group C:
Cameroon, Senegal, Mali, South Africa.
