Tyson Fury is likely to be part of a WWE storyline after his shock appearance on SmackDown.
Fury sat on the front row during the show’s premiere episode on FOX at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and had an intense confrontation with WWE superstar Braun Strowman during an Eight Man Tag Team Match.
Strowman teamed up with The Miz as well as Tucker and Otis of Heavy Machinery and defeated Randy Orton, US Champion AJ Styles as well as RAW Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
During the bout The Monster Among Men taunted the British boxing superstar as he put his fists up but the Lineal heavyweight champion just stood up and grinned at the 36-year-old.
A few seconds later Strowman picked up Ziggler and threw him against the barricade with such force that he knocked The Gypsy King back to his seat.
The ex-RAW Tag Team Champion got the pinfall for his team after a Running Powerslam on The Showoff and that was when Fury jumped over the barricade and tried to confront the heavyweight wrestler.
An army of security, though, stopped the former WBA, WBO an IBF world heavyweight champion immediately and led him away to the back.
WWE then announced that this was not the last the fans have seen of Fury as he will be appearing on RAW this Monday to speak his mind about the incident on an open microphone.
The altercation teased at a future angle between the two heavyweights possibly at WrestleMania, where a lot of boxing legends have appeared in the past, such as Muhammad Ali, Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson.
