Tyson Fury to pocket over £200m for Joshua fight

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is still very motivated with his goal of facing WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO champion Anthony Joshua in 2021.

Fury was scheduled to fight on December 5 in a stay-busy encounter, but his return got pushed back to next year.

Joshua is all set to return to the ring on December 12, when he faces IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev.

Fury is still dealing with a legal issue with respect to Deontay Wilder, who believes their immediate rematch clause is still valid.

Fury, who believes the rematch clause has expired, was last seen in the ring back in February when he stopped Wilder in seven rounds.

Should Joshua win, he would like to face Fury in the first half of 2021.

And if the fight actually happens, Fury fully expects to walk away with his hand raised.

“I’m 100 million percent confident I can beat him, I’m on a 12 year undefeated career so far, two time heavyweight champion in the world, so yeah the first man in history to win two heavyweight championships without losing a fight. Which is very unusual, I’m 100 percent confident I can beat anybody I go in the ring with and that’s why I’m world champion,” Fury said to Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp.

Fury also reacted to a recent interview with Joshua, who took a shot at the Gypsy King’s fashion.

“Yeah I mean I’m not the most fashionable person in the world, but my suits are extravagant, loud, and brash just like my personality and at the end of the day this is not a fashion contest. This is two men going toe to toe combat for all the glory and all the belts. It’s definitely not a fashion competition, but I think I can out-fashion him any day in dress sense,” Fury said.
