Two explosions were reportedly heard in Jos, the Plateau State capital, on Sunday.
While the first one rented the air at 9:15pm, the other came 10 minutes after.
The second one at 9:25pm was said to have shaken the town to its foundation.
However, the scene or scenes of the explosions could not be ascertained as at press time.
While some said it was at Sarin Gada Motor Park, others pointed in the direction of a drinking joint around the area.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Abu, confirmed having received the report of the explosions.
Abu, however, said details were still sketchy.
He told The Eagle Online that operatives of the bomb ordinance department had been sent to ascertain the situation and get the exact location of the explosions.
