Yinka Alaseyori, the gospel singer whose song was criticised by Tope Alabi, has finally reacted days after.
Recall that The Eagle Online reported that Alaseyori referred to God as “Oniduro mi” in one of her songs, which means: “My guarantor.”
However, Alabi objected to the song while ministering at a vigil in the early hours of June 12, stating that when she tried to sing the song, the Holy Spirit told her not to.
Alabi added that God is not a guarantor.
Responding to the criticism, Alaseyori said Alabi is a mother to her and others.
She also asked people to make God the centre of their worship.
She said: “Let Jesus take the wheel.
“Mummy Tope Alabi is our mother.
“She is a mother to me and so many and by virtue, we have been blessed by her ministry.
“Please and please, let us worship God, let us celebrate God, let Jesus be at the centre of it all.”
