Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Friday commiserated with the Ilorin Muslim community over the death of Sheikh Hassan Yusuf Bature, the Ajanasi Agba of Ilorin.
“As the Chief interpreter for the entire Ilorin and a distinguished elder statesman, the contributions of the late Ajanasi Agba to the growth of our community are not in doubt,” according to a statement by Rafiu Ajakaye, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
“The Ajanasi Agba and his erudition will be sorely missed. The Governor commiserates with the entire Ilorin Emirate, the Islamic scholarship community, his immediate family, and associates. He prays the Almighty Allah to grant him al-jannaah Firdaus.”
