The Nneji-Anejionu family of Umulolo Ogwu in Aboh-Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State has announced the death of their patriarch, Chief Silvanus Nneji Anejionu, renowned agriculturist and father-in-law of Tobs Agbaegbu, Publisher of Verbatim newsmagazine.
An obituary announcement released on behalf of the family by Magnus Ugonna Anejionu, the eldest son of the deceased, said Nneji-Anejionu, who holds the traditional title of Ohamadike 1 of Ngurunwenkwo, died after a brief illness on November 25, the day Catholics in Nigeria celebrate as Christ The King ceremony.
The announcement stated that Nneji-Anejionu, aged 83, is survived by his wife, Lolo Benedicta Anejionu, a retired headmistress; six children; three sons-in-law; two daughters-in-law; 13 grand-children; brothers; and sisters.
The announcement also stated that arrangements for the burial of Chief Nneji-Anejionu will be made public soon.
