The crisis rocking the Nigeria Football Federation may not abate until Thursday after all.
This followed the adjournment by the Federal High Court sitting in Jos, Plateau State the case involving the crisis in the NFF.
Factional President of the NFF, Ambassador Chris Giwa, had gone to the court seeking to be declared the bonafide head of Nigeria’s football board.
Justice Ambrose Allagoa on Wednesday adjourned to Thursday his judgment in the case of preliminary objection filed by the counsel to the NFF, Damon Dashen.
The court had on October 23, 2014 nullified the General Assembly of the NFF, which took place in Warri, Delta State, and by extension the emergence of Amaju Pinnick as the president of the federation.
Dashen had on Monday filed a preliminary objection challenging the jurisdiction of the court to hear the matter.
Nigeria stands to be suspended by FIFA if the imbroglio in the football house is not resolved by midday on Friday.
The conditions remain that the case should be withdrawn from court and Pinnick recognised as the president of the NFF.
