Dr. Lanre Tejuoso, vying for the Ogun Central Senatorial District seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress has urged all to show tolerance and consideration for one another and to imbibe the teachings of Jesus Christ as this yuletide season is celebrated.
In a statement he issued in Abeokuta, Ogun State to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, Prince Tejuoso said he was optimistic that with prayers, the country can overcome the current economic and security challenges.
Tejuoso said the festive period should not be seen as a period for merrymaking alone, but an opportunity for introspection and putting others first.
He said: “It is a time to reflect. If God could give us Christ, then we should all think more about impacting positively on the lives of others in any little way we can at this point in time.
“It is only by doing this that the sum of good deeds done by each of us will be greater than its parts.”
Tejuoso wished Nigerians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
