The qualifying examinations for the recruitment of teachers into public primary schools in Ekiti would hold on Saturday, September 21, by 10 a.m.
The Chairman, Ekiti Universal Basic Education, Prof. Francisca Aladejana, said this on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti.
Aladejana, in a statement made available to newsmen, said that the designated centres for the examination are: Ado-Ekiti, Ikere-Ekiti, Ido-Ekiti, Ode-Ekiti, Ikole-Ekiti and Ijero Ekiti.
He advised those who had applied for the teaching job to visit www.ekiti state.gov.ng/applicantseat to know their centres.
He also said that applicants should bring along to their centres: printed copies of their application forms and copies of their examination registration slips.
Aladejana, however, warned that the applicants would not be allowed to bring in their cell phones and other electronic devices into the examination halls.
NAN also reports that no fewer than 11,500 out of the over 19,500 applicants who initially applied for the teaching jobs are expected to sit for the qualifying examination.
