The National Chairman of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers arm of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, Chief Salimon Akanni Oladiti, will on Saturday be conferred with Doctor of Philosophy (honoris causa) of the Western Ville University, Ghana.
In the letter dated January 30, 2018 and signed by the Director, Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies, Prof. Eze C. Nwauba, the PTD boss will be bestowed with the said doctoral award in Organizational Leadership at an event holding on April 4h, 2018 at Accra Technical University, Ghana.
The award, being coordinated by IAMPS, according to the nomination letter sent to Oladiti, was part of the fundamental objectives of the institution to recognize few credible individuals.
The body described the NUPENG chief as one of the proponents of good governance in African leadership as well as selfless service to humanity.
It further stated that the awards would be preceded by the anniversary lecture titled: “Reducing poverty, unemployment and human trafficking in Africa through good governance in leadership: A rising challenge to African leaders.”
The lecture, which will be delivered by the President, Ampiah-Kwofi World Outreach, Accra, Ghana, Dr. Robert Ampiah-Kwofi, will have in attendance Ghanaian Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Otiko Afisah Djaba, among others.
