It was attacked October 9, 2021 by yet-to-be identified hoodlums who vandalised operational vehicles among others.

The confirmation was contained in a statement by the Spokesman of the Enugu State Police Command, ASP Daniel Ndukwe, on Wednesday.
During the fracas between hoodlums and residents of the community, six persons were shot dead, while many others sustained gunshot injuries.
The command’s spokesman, SP Ebere Amaraizu, said in a statement on Thursday that the arrest was achieved by the command’s operatives operating on Uvuru by Nkpologu-Adani axis of Uzo Uwani-Nsukka Road.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the victims are from Akaiyi Umulokpa in Uzo Uwani Local Government Area, Nara Unateze in Nkanu East Local Government Area and Ibagwa Nike in Enugu East Local Government Area.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Ebere Amaraizu, said in a statement on Monday in Enugu that the suspects met their waterloo on Sunday.
