On Tuesday, Trump tweeted an Election Day message of gratitude for the parade describing it as a “great honour”.
“We got to vote these people into oblivion,” Trump said addressing hundreds of supporters from the White House balcony.
Trump, however, urged Americans not to fear the COVID-19 disease that has killed over 209,000 people in the country and put him in hospital.
