The State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has inducted new 141 principals and 124 vice principals, charging them to uphold the professional standards in the educational system in order to dutifully build responsible and resourceful citizens.

The Oyo State government, on Tuesday, said it may start enforcing the Examination Malpractice Act, as enshrined in the 1999 Federal Constitution.

While declaring open the training tagged” Up skilling: Critical Measures in Critical Times” in Abeokuta, the Chairman, TESCOM, Evangelist Olalekan Ifede said the training was put together for all principals in Remo, Ijebu, Yewa, and Egba Divisions on strategic measures to make school environments conducive for teachers and students while carrying out their roles.
The State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Sa’adatu Madibbo-Kawu, made this known during a peaceful meeting between Muslim and Christian stakeholders in Ijagbo, Oyun Local Government Area, held at the Ministry Headquarters, Ilorin on Monday.
