This development came to the fore on Thursday via letters written to Ayu and drafts for the money to the party.

The list was released late on Saturday at the venue of the National Convention at the Eagle Square in Abuja
The party also commended Fayose for prevailing on Dr Eddy Olafeso and others, who contested in its just concluded South-West congress, held in Osogbo, from challenging the outcome of the congress in court.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Arapaja, a former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, emerged the South West National Vice-chairman on Monday at the party’s Zonal Delegates’ Congress held in Osogbo, Osun State.
The former governor, and a zonal chairmanship candidate, Dr. Eddy Eniola Olafeso, who earlier promised to abide by the outcome of the congress, have been quoted in the media making contrary statements in the past few days.
Fayose said this on a Channels Television programme: Politics Today, on Wednesday following the conclusion of the South West Congress of the Peoples Democratic Party
The congress was held in Osogbo, Osun State on Monday, with Fayose’s candidate for the chairmanship position, Eddy Olafeso, losing by 330 votes to the candidate of Governor Seyi Makinde, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, who polled 343 votes.
Makinde made the disclosure while addressing newsmen on his arrival at the venue of the congress.
A document, signed by the National Organisation Secretary of the party, Col. Austin Akobundu, and obtained by our correspondent on Sunday evening, indicated that a former deputy governor of Oyo State, Taofeek Arapaja, and the immediate zonal chairman of the party, Dr. Eddy Olafeso, would contest the chairmanship position.
