Adisa, who expressed the governor’s condolence to the family of the deceased child, said that contrary to the unverified news story alleging the killing of the child by a vehicle in the convoy of the Oyo State governor, the girl was killed by a Toyota Matrix Car.

Adisa, who was reacting to comments credited to Fijabi when he featured on an IBR FM, Ibadan programme tagged Bottomline, said that since the truth is always constant, Governor Makinde’s actions and position cannot be muddled up in hay of lies by opposition elements.
The governor stated this while speaking at the public presentation of two books authored by the immediate past Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Prof. Temitope Alonge, titled: “Public Private Partnership in Health,” and: “Driven by Passion, Enabled by Grace.”
The governor added that his administration will improve social services and expand infrastructure at the airport to enhance the economic growth of the state.
The governor, who stated this during a tour of the project, said his administration had to sack the contractor inherited from the previous administration due to unsatisfactory slow pace of work.
The commissioner, who spoke on the issues raised by the students said that the state government had addressed accreditation issues affecting the institutions.
The government equally approved the implementation of mini-grid scheme for rural communities in the state to provide electric city supply to the rural areas.
Makinde reacted in a statement on Monday by his spokesman.
The governor’s media aide, in a statement on Thursday, said that a section of Nigerians misinterpreted Governor Makinde’s submission on the implementation of the National Livestock Transformation Plan (NLTP) in the state.
The joint team is to work out modalities on how the two states could mutually address the situation and surmount security challenges within their territories and to also seek alignments and collaboration on economic and security fronts.
Adisa said this in a statement issued to newsmen in Ibadan on Monday, while reacting to rumours making the rounds in a section of the media that the governor is set to dump the PDP under whose platform he was elected governor in 2019.
The governor’s aide warned against raising false alarms on the security situation in Ibarapaland and parts of Oke-Ogun, adding that security agencies will readily deal with anyone seeking to cause ethnic tension.

Adisa, who was reacting to a statement credited to the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress in the 2019 election in the state, Chief Femi Lanlehin, said the opposition leaders’ penchant to raise the alarm around issue of insecurity and exaggerate the same beyond the realm of reality is a ploy to create fear in the minds of residents of the state and slow down its thriving economy.
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State made this plea on Sunday, while hosting the leaders of Ondo State PDP, who were at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan to pay him a visit, appreciate his support for the party in the last governorship election in the state and declare support for his leadership of the party in the South West.
