Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh, revealed that he attempted contacting the player a day after the news of his retirement emerged but has since not succeeded in exchanging correspondences with the Fenerbahce loanee

The report claimed that the coach was consigned to his hotel room as a result of the contagious nature of his ailment.
Oliseh however denied the claim, saying there was no iota of truth in the report as he is fully involved the Home-Eagles preparation for the return leg of the CHAN 2016 qualifier against the Stallions of Burkina Faso this weekend.

The team’s media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, informed that the technical crew are not leaving any stone unturned as they have mapped out strategies to block all the loopholes that were noticed in the first leg

Onigbinde’s words: “Though, I wasn’t in Belgium, but from account of what I have heard and read in the newspapers, I think Oliseh must learn players management and tread with caution if he must succeed on the job.
