Former Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa and presidential hopeful of the Peoples Democratic Party has stressed the need to restore justice, fairness and rule of law in the country.

Alhaji Sule Lamido, a former Governor of Jigawa and Presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, has said he will not leave the party even if he loses primaries for the presidential race.
Lamido who spoke with journalists shortly after attending a meeting with PDP leaders and members in Ogun said plans were in full gear to return the party where it belonged.
Lamido, a former Governor of Jigawa State, disclosed this on Wednesday in Yola, Adamawa State when he visited the PDP State Secretariat to make his intention of seeking the party’s presidential ticket known.
The meeting is coming amid plans by leaders of the Reformed-All Progressives Congress to defect to the PDP
The governor made the statement in Port Harcourt when a former Governor of Jigawa, Alhaji Sule Lamido, visited to inform him of his (Lamido) intention to vie for the position of president in 2019.
Lamido said this in Abakaliki when he led his campaign team on a courtesy visit to Governor David Umahi.
