The Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association has commended the Federal Government for approving the implementation of the “long overdue” Steve Oronsanye Report.

The Presidential Committee on the Rationalisation and Restructuring of Federal Government Parastatals, Commissions, led by ex-Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mr. Steve Oronsaye, has recommended the elevation of the Code of Conduct Tribunal to Anti-Corruption Tribunal to try all graft cases.
Oronsaye was also the Chairman, Presidential Committee on Financial Action Task Force set up by former President Goodluck Jonathan
Dr. Joe Abah, the Director General of the bureau, made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja on Tuesday
A statement signed by the group’s National Coordinator, James Alo, and Secretary, Aliu Sanni, said the advice came as a result of its review of circumstances surrounding the entire case against Orosanye, which smacks of vendetta and a bid to punish him for no just cause
