Bamidele in a statement issued by his media office Friday averred that making the incoming government successful, prosperous and peaceful is dear to all Nigerians, bearing in mind the President-elect’s incurable commitment to making the nation great, saying he needed the contributions of all citizens to succeed in this tasking assignment.

This, he said, will make graduates self-reliant due to the pervasive joblessness and youth restiveness across the country.
As the citizens step into another new year, the Senators, harped on the need to forge a united nation to fortify the country bonds and make it strong to overcome the cankerworms of corruption, insecurity and economic deprivation.
The assurance was contained in a statement by Senator Opeyemi Bamidele (APC-Ekiti), Chairman of the forum.
Senator Bamidele explained that what the All Progressive Congress (APC) senators voted against is disenfranchised or compromised election results of people in rural areas who have access to communication network in the country.
The forum also described the development as a signal that the country’s insecurity has permeated every section of the nation.
