This award for “Outstanding Commitment To Nigeria’s Decade Of Gas,” has been given by the Nigerian Gas Association in recognition of SCiN’s contributions to the realisation of the Decade of Gas aspiration.

The Managing Director of Shell’s deep-water business, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company, Elohor Aiboni, was also named the sole recipient of the PETAN Chairman Outstanding Achievement Award. While her successor in office, Mr. Bayo Ojulari, clinched the PETAN Distinguished Achievement Award.
He says his suggestion is necessitated by the need to respond to global call to reduce the exploitation of fossil fuels and production of Green House Gases.
The Managing Director, The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited, Osagie Okunbor, was also honoured at the event with the Aret Adams Award for Excellence for leading a formidable team in Shell to deliver value to its partners, stakeholders and particularly the country

Shell General Manager Development, Chibogwu Sam Ezugworie, was also honoured with the Fellowship of NAPE in a glittering ceremony that had industry top-notchers in attendance.

Also, Shell Companies in Nigeria awarded contracts worth over N230 billion to Nigerian contractors in 2017, representing 94 per cent of the total contracts in that year
