The Commissioner for Information, Culture and tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun, stated this over the weekend.
He said this on Sunday in a pronouncement to commemorate the first year anniversary of LAUTECH’s sole ownership.
The governor made the donation at the first anniversary of the Oyo State Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun Corps, and the commissioning of the Ultra-Modern state headquarters of the outfit.
The Governor also appointed the trio of Hon. Adeyinka Kazeem Adeniyi (Bibiire), Chief Omokunmi Mustapha and Hon. Gbenga Oyekola as Special Advisers on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Interparty Affairs and Economic Planning respectively.
Makinde, who congratulated the 3SC on its promotion to the Nigerian Premier Football League, said his administration would always support the team, while also urging Crown FC Ogbomoso to work hard to gain promotion to the top league.
Makinde gave the charge on Tuesday when the new executive committee members visited him in his office in Ibadan.
The Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun gave the charge during a courtesy visit by members of National Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, to his office.
The governor, while declaring open the 4th Quarter Army Headquarters Veteran Affairs Directorate Seminar 2021, held at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, said the theme of the programme was apt, saying that the nation had reached a point where “we need the skills of all, both serving and retired.”
He maintained that the state has been developing its infrastructure so that there would be ease of doing business and transportation in the state, adding that the state is also working hard to improve the security sector in line with its commitment to the four-point service agenda.
The governor spoke when he received members of the Senate Committee on Army, led by its Chairman, Ali Ndume.
Makinde spoke when he declared open the Conference of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in Ibadan on Thursday.
At the election held at the Eagle Square in Abuja between Saturday and Sunday, Oyinlola lost to Ambassador Taofik Arapaja.

Makinde, who was represented by a delegation led by the Executive Assistant to the governor on Security, Sunday Odukoya, a retired Commissioner of Police, lauded the security agencies in Oyo State for their commitment and dedication towards making the state safe.
Makinde, who described the death of Alhaja Akinola as a painful loss, commiserated with Alhaji Akinola, praying to God to grant repose to the soul of the deceased and to grant the family the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
The governor, who was speaking at the Oyo State 2021 Agribusiness Summit, held at the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan, maintained that for agriculture to lift people from poverty to prosperity, it must not only be seen as a tool for rural development, but, specifically, as a business.
