The Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday formally welcomed home Senate President, Bukola Saraki; Governor of Sokoto, Aminu Tambuwal; Samuel Ortom of Benue, former Kano state governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso; Nigeria’s former High Commissioner to South Africa, Ahmed Ibeto and Senator Dino Melaye as they attended the party’s National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has condemned what he termed the awkward political development in Benue State where some lawmakers, aided and abetted by the Nigeria Police Force, came together to illegally occupy the Benue State House of Assembly and serve impeachment notice to Governor Samuel Ortom.
