Victory for Mauritius at the CAF Disciplinary Committee means they now join Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Guinea-Bissau in Group A of the six-match phase that ends in March next year. Nigeria will play Sierra Leone in Abuja on Thursday 9th June and then play Mauritius on Monday 13th June.

The teams scheduled to participate in the draw, according to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will discover their paths for possible qualification for the competition when the draw is held in Johannesburg, South Africa at 5:30pm Nigeria time.
CAF Director of Competitions, Samson Adamu, assisted by Cote d’Ivoire legend Abdoulaye Traore ran the draw process.
CAF Director of Competitions Samson Adamu conducted the draw, assisted by Mauritania’s legend Mustapha Fall on Wednesday in Nouakchott, Mauritania.
The ceremony, which will be conducted by CAF’s Director of Competitions, Samson Adamu, will commence at 2pm Nigeria time and will be broadcast on CAF’s digital platforms.
A. U. Mustapha, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, was appointed the President of the CAF Board of Appeal, while CAF Assistant General Coordinator and organizer of the COPA Lagos Invitational Beach Soccer Tournament, Samson Adamu, was appointed CAF’s Director of Competitions.
The appointments were made at the 40th Ordinary General Assembly in Casablanca, Morocco.
