The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Olowu took over the leadership of the CIBN on Saturday in Lagos from Prof. Segun Ajibola to oversee affairs of the Institute for the next two years.

Ajibola said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Abuja, while reacting to the passage of the 2018 Appropriation Bill of N9.12 trillion by the National Assembly.
Presenting the award at a ceremony held in Lagos, the President and Chairman of Council, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Prof. Segun Ajibola, commended Emefiele and his team at the CBN for their efforts in managing the Nigerian financial sector and intervening in critical sectors of the economy, particularly agriculture
Ajibola said: “The linkage agreement is to train the young students and blend their respective training in universities and polytechnics with the CIBN’s professional curriculum
